Legend Agency Client Josh Tupou Signs with the New York Giants

Legend Agency is proud to announce that our client, veteran nose tackle Josh Tupou, has signed with the New York Giants ahead of the 2026 season. Tupou is a 350-pound force of nature whose blue-collar mentality, run-stuffing ability, and veteran leadership have kept him in NFL locker rooms for nearly a decade. We couldn’t be more excited for Josh and for what lies ahead with the Giants.

A Long Beach, California native, Josh played college football at the University of Colorado from 2012 to 2016 before signing with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft. Josh played in every regular season game for the Bengals in 2021, finishing the year with 12 tackles while playing 37 percent of the team’s defensive snaps, and was part of Cincinnati’s historic Super Bowl LVI run, playing 22 snaps on the NFL’s biggest

stage. Over the course of his career, Josh has appeared in 71 games with 23 starts, accumulating 94 career tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, and 3.0 sacks;  numbers that only tell part of the story for a player whose true value is felt in the trenches on every snap.

The Giants’ decision to sign Josh was driven by clear organizational need and genuine familiarity. The move adds much-needed depth to New York’s defensive line. The signing also reunites Josh with head coach John Harbaugh, with whom he built a relationship during his time with the Baltimore Ravens. Notably, Josh spent four seasons as a teammate of D.J. Reader in Cincinnati, bringing a built-in chemistry and familiarity to a defensive front that New York is counting on to anchor their 2026 defense. New defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson, who brings 14 years of NFL coaching experience to East Rutherford and previously oversaw a Titans defense that ranked second in the league in yards allowed, has made physicality and gap integrity central pillars of his scheme,  exactly the kind of system built for a player like Josh Tupou.
